McAllen Mayor Jim Darling held a news conference at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at the McAllen Convention Center. Mayor Darling discussed the recent humanitarian effort brought about by the influx of thousands of immigrant families and unaccompanied youth into the country this year and how the City is grappling with the situation.
