McAllen Firefighters will have a new home

The City of McAllen and the McAllen Fire Department will host a ground breaking for Fire Substation No. 3 on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 9 a.m. at 213 East Dallas. 

 

The new station is designed by Milnet Architectural Services and will cost $1.3 million to build.  The new facility will house Engine #3 with a crew of four to include a lieutenant, driver, and two firefighters. McAllen Fire Substation No. 3 should be completed by 2015.  The substation was built and went into operation on May 1st, 1960.
