Municipal Court Offers Amnesty for Failure to Appear Citations

The McAllen Municipal Court is offering an Amnesty Program for those residents that have a Failure to Appear in court. The Amnesty is from October 6th to October 31st. During this time, the failure to appear charge will be waived for anyone who comes in voluntarily to make arrangements to pay their tickets and if the defendant has not entered a plea on the Failure to Appear. You will not be waived if an officer brings you in to pay.
