World War II

Overview

The World War II section encompasses the history of the war from start to finish with depictions, pictures, phrases, words, facts and information so that all may grasp the significance of that war. The site consists of 8 granite walls joined in an octagonal configuration that allows visitors to walk around them and view the walls. Throughout this section, are pathways, landscaped areas and individual granite walls to be used to inscribe names, facts, depictions and information of organizations and individuals tied to the wars time period. On the ground, individual pavers will be inscribed with the information of all who will honor these heroes of our nation.
