Organizational Guardians

Overview

Encircling the Memorial Complex are 105 flagpoles and pedestals. These are the Organizational Guardian (OG) sites. Individuals, organizations, groups, families and businesses may obtain an OG and become a Guardian of the Memorial.

An organizational or other insignia is placed on the top of the pedestal with names inscribed on the front. Placed at the base of the pedestal will be one or more 16” x 16” pavers and forty-two 4” x 8” pavers that can be inscribed with relevant names and information related to the organization or group. The OG site also includes one flagpole with a USA flag.
