McAllen Stair Climb '14 Ceremony

by Public Information Office | Sep 16, 2014

The McAllen Stair Climb ’14 on Sunday, September 14th at Neuhaus Tower was a great success.  More than 300 participants completed the climb of 110 floors.  Each climber had to do the 17 floors - six and half times at the Chase-Neuhaus Tower.  Funds will go to Tuesday’s Children and the Texas Line of Duty Death Task Force which helps a firefighter’s family if a firefighter dies in the line of duty.

Firefighters remembered the 343 New York City firefighters who died on Sept. 11, 2001 at the World Trade Center (WTC).  Each participant had to wear a picture of one of the firefighters who died on 9/11.
