Passports

Passport Book/Card applications are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Applications are also accepted every second Saturday of each month between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If an appointment is preferred, please call in advance at (956)681-1450.

Requirements to apply for a U.S. Passport Book/Card Checklist:

  • Application (Form DS-11)(COMPLETED APPLICATION IN BLACK INK ONLY)
  • Applicant must be present at time of passport application process.
  • Children 15 years of age and younger must be accompanied by both parents. Children 16 & 17 years of age must be acompanied by one parent. 18 years of age or older must present their own valid Texas Identification or Driver License. If one parent is unavailable at the time of the appointment, Form DS-3053 must be completed, notarized and submitted with the application along with a copy (front & back) of absent parent's identification.
  • Certified Birth Certificate (Long Form) Certificate of Naturalization or Report of Birth Abroad
  • One (1) 2x2 color photograph (available on site for $15.00 cash)
  • Valid ID w/ Photo:
    • U.S. Drivers License or Identification Card
    • Visa Laser
    • U.S. Passport Book-Card/Foreign Passport
    • Consular I.D. (Matricula Consular)
