McAllen voters will decide on a proposition election on November 5, 2013, authorizing the issuance of General Obligations Bond in the amount of $45M. Early voting is from October 21, 2013 to November 1, 2013. For general information about the election, contact the Hidalgo County Elections Department at (956) 318-2570.
Proposition 1 in the bond election asks for the approval of $15M for road improvements.
Proposition 2 asks for $15M to help finance the construction of the proposed Performing Arts Center.
Proposition 3 asks for $15M to be used for the construction of a new baseball complex.
