The McAllen Fire Department was honored at the grand opening celebration of Firehouse subs at 4901 W. Expy 83 today. A custom, hand-painted mural inside the dining room is dedicated to the local heroes at the McAllen Fire Department and in honor of their 100th anniversary. Local business leaders, the McAllen Chamber of Commerce, Fire Chief Rafael Balderas, the McAllen Fire Department, Central Station and Honor Guard attended the event.
