McALLEN – Today marks the first day of early voting for City Commission Districts 5 and 6 which pits incumbent John Ingram against Eli Olivarez and incumbent Veronica Vela Whitacre against Eduardo De La Rosa respectively. Election day is set for Saturday, May 9th from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Voters will also have the chance to cast their ballot for the District 1 runoff between Richard Cortez and Debbie Crane Aliseda. Early voting for all three races will run through May 5 at three locations:
- Fireman’s Pump House - 201 North 1st Street,
- Palm View Community Center - 3401 Jordan Avenue
- Lark Community Center - 2601 Lark Avenue
