McALLEN – Grammy award-winning artist Enrique Iglesias will kick off this year’s McAllen Holiday Parade presented by La Plaza Mall on Dec.5. The concert sponsored by Kraft Heinz and H-E-B will begin at 5 p.m. at McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Iglesias remains one of the world’s most recognizable and revered superstars. To date, he has sold over 100 million albums worldwide, cementing him as one of the best-selling Spanish artists of all-time.
Stadium tickets will go on sale through www.ticketmaster.com this Saturday, November 21 at 10 a.m. and at the McAllen Convention Center Box Office. Pricing ranges from $15 for stadium seating to $125 for field level. Tickets include stadium admission for the concert at 5 p .m. and the parade, which begins at 6 p.m.
“City commission, with the leadership of our mayor Jim Darling, has made it a point that we’re going to become the destination city of South Texas. In order to do that, you have to have a lot of pieces work together,” said City Manager Roel “Roy” Rodriguez, P.E. “We know that there isn’t any one thing that’s going to make us that destination but all of the things put together, I think is going to create a beautiful mosaic of what McAllen is and will continue to be.”
Starting Saturday KraftHeinz and H-E-B will offer opportunities for a free VIP experience to see the headlining concert. Visit any participating H-E-B, purchase three select Kraft products, and receive a voucher to enter McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium to see the live performance up close. Vouchers must be redeemed at the McAllen Convention Center box office by Friday, December 4 at 5 p.m. There is limited availability and tickets are based on first come first serve. Only one voucher per person will be redeemed.
