McALLEN – Drivers should proceed with caution and/or plan an alternate route as a paving project begins tomorrow on Wichita Avenue from Main Street to 10th Street.
Construction of the road will be done in two phases. The first phase will start on the north side of Wichita Avenue and maintain one lane of traffic for east and west.
The second phase will be on the south side of Wichita Avenue and maintain one lane of traffic for east and west.
The project is expected to last several months and drivers should expect delays.
