FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (February 1, 2024) – The greatest car show in South Texas is back at the McAllen Convention Center. McAllen International CarFest has over 200 vehicles representing 96 different categories of dream cars, including: rare muscle cars, classics, imports, concept cars, hot rods, racecars, and more. Guests of all ages will experience a fun-filled weekend featuring:

- Greenpower USA Racing
- R/C Drag Racing
- Meet & Greet with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- Meet & Greet with Rowdy from the Dallas Cowboys on Sat only from 12p-2p, presented by McAllen International Airport

- Texas Tops Showcase
Throughout the 14 years, McAllen CarFest has been able to raise over $100,000 for nonprofit organizations across McAllen and surrounding cities. CarFest's philanthropical efforts are rooted in the City of McAllen's mission of providing a high quality of life to all who live, work, and visit the City of McAllen.
The car show is set to begin Friday, February 2and runs through Sunday. Hours of operation are:
Friday, 4:00 - 9:00 p.m.; Saturday, 10:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, 10:00 – 6 p.m.
McAllen CarFest welcomes children twelve and under free and a $12 prices for students age 13 through 18l seniors over sixty; and military/first responders with valid ID.
