Valid identification, check or money order on hand required to apply; first come, first serve
The City of McAllen Passports Division will be open for extended hours on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The department is located at the City of McAllen Downtown Parking Garage, 221 S. 15th St.
Please note that each applicant must be present and must provide a valid form of identification with an identifiable photo and signature, proof of citizenship such as a certified Birth Certificate or Certificate of Naturalization. All documents proving qualified applicant status must be original documents. Passport fees must be paid only in the form of a check or money order payable to the U.S. Department of State. Processing and photo fees can be paid in the form of cash.
Appointments are not required, and requests will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Parking is available at the McAllen Downtown Parking Garage. Parking rates are $1 for the first hour and $.50 for every hour after.
