City of McAllen to Host Hiring Event

On-site interviews and  opportunity for same day selection for those hired

The City of McAllen will  host a job event on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the McAllen Convention Center Ballroom, 700 Convention Ctr. Blvd.

Numerous City of McAllen departments will be a part of the event including: McAllen Express; McAllen Police Department; McAllen Parks & Recreation; McAllen Public Library; McAllen Public Utilities Transmission & Distribution; and McAllen Public Works divisions, including Fleet Operations, Commercial Box, Drainage, Street Cleaning, Brush Collection, Recycling, Residential, Roll Off, and Street Cleaning; as well as Environmental & Health Code Compliance and others.

Those interested should bring their resumés but are encouraged to apply online beforehand to expedite the process and allow the opportunity for on-site interviews.
