Enjoy Un Cafecito with the Authors at South Texas Book Festival

Unlimited espresso bar, pastries and opportunity to have intimate discussion with selected authors

The 11th Annual South Texas Book Festival will host Un Cafecito with the Authors, on Wed., Oct. 30 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the McAllen Public Library, 4001 N. 23rd St. Guests will enjoy an unlimited espresso bar, a delicious array of pastries, an intimate Question & Answer session, as well as signed books from the panel of authors after the session. While tickets are at $30, this ticketed event has a $100 value. All proceeds will go toward the South Texas Book Festival.

Event organizers  are thrilled to announce the panel of Cafecito authors, including:

- René Saldaña, Jr., reading from his bilingual book, “Eventually, Inevitably, My Writing Life in Verse”

- “A Night of Screams: Latino Horror Stories,” with Editor Richard Z. Santos and Rubén Degollado

- Alberto Roblest reading from his book, “Against The Wall: Stories”

“What better time than now to read some spine-tingling stories,” said Kate Horan, Library Director. “Our guests will  have the opportunity to ask the authors questions about their inspirations and their writing process.”
