Holiday Parade
The McAllen Holiday Parade sponsored by HEB and powered by Bert Ogden once again drew in a fantastic and energetic crowd. Illuminated balloons and spectacular floats began their journey at the McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium and headed south to wow fans.
South Pole Illumination
As the OFFICIAL South Pole of Texas, the McAllen Convention Center complex is transformed into an illuminated pathway of beauty, wonderment and joy.
Christmas Posada
Archer Park featured a special event on Saturday, December 10th when Keep McAllen Beautiful hosted a Christmas Posada. The free, family-friendly event demonstrates the traditional posada procession – a reenactment of Mary and Joseph’s search for lodging. The procession culminates at a nativity scene, with shepherds and the Three Wise Men.
Shoebox Parade
An addition to the holiday parade engaged creative artists to create scenes showcased in a shoebox parade. T-A-L-E-N-T!
