McAllen International Airport partnered with Volaris to launch a new nonstop route to Cancun, Mexico, starting July 3, 2024, with two weekly departures on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This route strengthens McAllen's ties with Mexico, boosting both tourism and business opportunities. "This partnership demonstrates our commitment to regional growth and enhancing travel options for McAllen," said Mayor Javier Villalobos.
