National Hispanic Heritage Month:

McAllen Airport opened a photo exhibit honoring Hispanic Heritage Month. The exhibit, titled Maya Heritage: Past, Present, Future, features images that highlight symbolic elements and cultures of various countries from Mexico and Central America. A grand opening of the exhibit was celebrated with McAllen airport officials along with the Consulates of El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico.
