Palm Valley Animal Society and McAllen
The City of McAllen has partnered with the Palm Valley Animal Society (PVAS) to build a new animal shelter on Trenton Road in Edinburg. The McAllen City Commission approved $820,000 for the design and planning of the facility during a recent meeting. The shelter replaced PVAS's current location and is a result of ongoing collaboration between the city and the nonprofit. The partnership aims to enhance animal care and services in the region.
