Independence Day of Central America and Mexico:

The City of McAllen, in partnership with the Consulates of El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico, hosted weekly flag-raising ceremonies at City Hall throughout September to honor their Independence Day anniversaries. These events celebrated the vital role of the consulates in strengthening international ties and serving the community.
