The non-profit wing of Quinta Mazatlan, Friends of Quinta Mazatlan, along with donors, invested over $25,000 in creating a Tiny Forest for improving the environment for our residents and wildlife—for a healthier future for generations to come. The community was invited out plant over 1,500 native plants in McAllen. Quinta Mazatlan Manager, Colleen Hook, shared “We are not just planting trees, we are planting an ecosystem. It will become a real forest, a dense diverse forest and will be self-sustaining after a few years.”
